Fifty Five Reborn, a daughter of the Group 1 winner Renaissance Man, now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga (NSW), completed a winning hat trick when she led most of the way in a career-best 1:56.5 over 2130 metres at Gloucester Park on Friday night (July 16).
It was the four-year-oldās 13th lifetime success and tipped her stake earnings over the $160,000 mark.
Former world champion Warrawee Needy, a studmate of Renaissance Man, left winners in both hemispheres last week. The Mountain, a three-year-old gelding, defeated older rivals at Wagga rating 1:57.1 for 1740 metres, while Rocket Girl (1:56.2), Tilly Dreamcatcher and Heresthatmanagain saluted in Canada.
Middlepage, a tough winner at Gloucester Park and now the winner of six races, headlined a trio of victors for his sire the former NZ 4YO of the Year Tintin In America this week. The highly promising Onesmartfella NZ, who made it two for two on Australian soil at Hamilton, and the Penrith winner Glenferrie Duster NZ were other recent winners sired by Tintin In America.
Million Dollar Cam, the reigning NSW Sire of the Year, was represented by the fast finishing Bathurst winner Dulcetto, the 1:58 Redcliffe victor Deal Breaker and Milliondollar Wave, who won in 1:53 at Northfield Park, Ohio.
Renaissance Man, Warrawee Needy, Tintin In America and Million Dollar Cam are all members of the Yirribee Pacing Stud sire roster.
