Herbertson, Tormey will compete at national championships

James Herbertson and Ellen Tormey will represent Victoria at the 2023 Australian Drivers’ Championship in Launceston, Tasmania.

Herbertson returns to defend the harness racing title he won at Globe Derby last year, while this is Tormey’s first selection in the series.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 21.

Herbertson is the current Victorian driving premiership leader with 197 winners, while Tormey has 105.

Tormey competed in the Australian Female Drivers’ Championship in Queensland earlier this year.
