Harness racing trainer Bernie Hewitt has been training horses since the early 1980s and the last handful of years has been his most successful.
From training Group 1 winners, taking out premierships and training a record 122 winners in one season, Hewitt keeps reaching new heights.
Just last week the 60-year-old Bathurst mentor reached another milestone when training his 1700th winner.
That was with Tom The Curious at Parkes on April 20.
Hewitt then added to this when successful with Iamajoyride at Forbes on Monday.
With five of his own horses nominated across the Bathurst meeting tonight, Hewitt looks set to add more wins to his record.
Hewitt will drive some of his pacers tonight along with his son Doug Hewitt and Olivia Frisby.
