The five-year-old French bred mare Hopeful Beauty, a very impressive come-from-behind winner at harness racing’s Melton track last Saturday night, is proving a splendid advertisement for her sire Brilliantissime, a triple Group 1 winning son of Ready Cash and whose frozen semen is available from Haras Des Trotteurs at Ballarat.
Hopeful Beauty unleashed a probing three-wide run at the 600 metre mark to overwhelm her rivals in the home straight, rating 1:59.1 for 2240 metres with the last half in a sharp 56.7 seconds.
It was her eighth success and lifted her stake tally to $77,100.
Quaker Jet, another of the Haras Des Trotteursā frozen sire roster, was represented by two ānewā winners in New Zealand and the repeat winner Elegant Jet, who posted her fifth success at Ballarat.
Bennie And The Jets, a three-year-old gelding by Quaker Jet, broke his maiden status at only his second start at Rangiora, while the four-year-old mare Cheval Rouge scored on debut at Winton.

Leading the vanguard was the star three-year-old filly Tough Love, a runaway winner of a NSW Foundation heat at Menangle on Tuesday (April 5). She made it two for two this season and seven wins from 13 lifetime starts.
Love You led in a siring double at Yarra Valley with the three-year-old Hephaestus Phoenix and Kyvalley Surfrider NZ (his fifth win).
The three-year-olds Speedy Lover, a brilliant winner at Bendigo, and Thatās What We Do (Auckland) and the six-year-old You Really Got Me NZ (Kilmore) were other recent winners sired by Love You, the current leading three-year-old trotting sire in both Australia and NZ.
