I’m Bobby (Majestic Son) confirmed his status as the Nation’s most improved trotter with a sparkling harness racing display in an the way win in the Wards Accounting Group Trotters Mobile at Menangle on Saturday evening.

The Victorian was going for his fourth win on end and was having his fourth consecutive driver in Amanda Turnbull.
As soon as the mobile was released I’m Bobby unleashed a dazzling early burst of speed to easily take up the running. Macho Man who had scored at Menangle in late June took the trail while Aldebaran Zeus gradually moved up to race near the lead.

However I’m Bobby simply exploded clear at the top of the straight and with Turnbull sitting pretty the gelding strode away to a seven metre win over Macho Man just in advance of Aldebaran Zeus. By way of his last quarter of 27.6 seconds I’m Bobby recorded a mile of 1.54.3
Aldebaran Peggy the unraced dam of I’m Bobby was by Skyvalley and she is also the dam of Abbie a full sister to I’m Bobby. Aldebaran Peggy has a three year old filly by Great Success and a yearling colt by Elite Stride.
IM BOBBY AUG 9 REPLAY
I’m Bobby has now proved himself in free for all company at both Menangle and Melton. Certainly he’s proved himself to be superior to New South Wales trotters and will start a warm favourite if he comes back for the Menangle Trotters Cup in late September.
And with the forthcoming key Victorian features he’s certainly an exciting prospect.
