Talented harness racing reinswoman Jackie Barker scooped honours with a dashing drive to guide Iveseenheavenslight (Bettors Delight) to win the $100,000 Captain Crunch Two Year Old fillies final last night.
It came just half an hour after Jackie had piloted Miki To Success (Always Be Miki) in the $100,000 Art Major Superbred for three year old colts and geldings.
The double win gave Barker he second Group 1 winning success.
Barker showed early initiative to lead early with Iveseenheavenslight and in a fast run race held the front. Second favourite Miss Australiana was set alight by driver Mark Pitt with just over a lap to travel and he persisted to take the lead with just under a lap to go.
Barker was content to sit behind the leader and just near the final bend she issued another challenge. Getting to the front at the top of home straight she held on grimly to beat the fast finishing favourite Let Her Roll with Soho Americano third ahead of Tupelo who had a hard run outside the leader.

The win gave trainer Emma Stewart her third Group 1 for the night following the success of Heza Rocker and Miki to Success.
Earlier Miki to Success came with a well timed burst to snatch victory from leader Some AmericanĀ who seemed to have race won after holding off all challenges.
After her win Barker declared āIām over the moon. Heās a bit of a tricky fella but heās a lovely horse and once he getās his mind on heās going to be a special horseā.
āHeās a bit arrogant but he keeps coming on. Around the final turn he was flat but he kept coming onā.
In addition to her second Group 1 Barker had only recently achieved getting her 500 th race winner
and she certainly has kept the family tradition going. Her father Rodney has been a prominent
trainer driver and grandfather Jim is still going strong after a stellar career.
