Former Newcastle reinsman Jack Callaghan will be out to create history in tomorrow night’s $1m Miracle Mile at Menangle.
At the age of 20, Callaghan will be the youngest driver to win a Miracle Mile if his drive Spirit Of St Louis is successful.

Drawn in barrier two in the Grand Circuit feature, Callaghan believes the pacer will gain a good trip behind the race favourite.
“He should be behind King Of Swing,” Callaghan said.
“I’m pretty pumped to be in the race. “The horse seems great and pulled up as bright as a button after last week.”
Callaghan has driven Spirit Of St Louis five times for four wins and a second in the Group 1 Hunter Cup to King Of Swing.
Callaghan began his driving career in Newcastle in the 2017/18 season and has amassed 310 wins and three at Group 1 level.
