Gun Terang reinsman Jason Lee won five races at his home track on Wednesday night.
Lee combined with trainer Darren Cole and four-year-old gelding Ruthless And More to win the Dick & Anne Box Pace over 1680m (Race 4).
Jason didn’t drop another race for the remainder of the night, taking out the Terang Harness Owners, Trainers and Supporters Group Pace with impressive four-year-old Clark Griswold, the Morsbearings Dalvui Dominator First Heat with four-year-old mare Justa Dream Lombo, the Gammalite Cup with Keayang Starzzz and Dalvui Dominator Second Heat with Keayang On Fire.
“That was the first time I’ve had five winners so it was pretty good,” Lee said.
“A winner’s good anywhere but I love driving winners on my home track.”
Lee, 19, has 41 winners to date this season from 151 drives.
“I’m really enjoying it,” he said.
“I’m driving a lot of good horses for good people.”
Punters might pay to add three horses to their black books, with Lee predicting Clark Griswold, Justa Dream Lombo and Keayang Starzzz would all go on to bigger and better things.
