Former USA pacing standout All Bets Off 1:48 ($3million), who is available to Australian harness racing breeders for the first time this season from Tourello Standardbreds in Tasmania, sired the winner of the first elimination of the $1million Little Brown Jug at the Delaware County Fair earlier today (Sep 23) in Moment Is Here.
The gelding led from the outset and carved out sections of 26, 28, 28.2 and 28 on his way to a resounding win in 1:50.2.
Moment Is Here, who holds a record of 1:49, has earned more than $450,000 in stakes.
Other fast winners by All Bets Off recently have been the three-year-old fillies Splash Of Pink (1:52.8) and Wiggy (1:54.6) and the two-year-old filly Bonitaās Best Bet (1:54.2).
All Bets Offās two and three-year-olds have banked $1.75million to date this year. His oldest stock are now three-yaer-olds and they have earned $2.2million.
Lennytheshark, the Tourello studmate of All Bets Off, picked up another new credit in the three-year-old Son Of The Shark, a winner in 1:57.6 at Cobram. Heathbern Bruce, also a member of āLennyāsā first crop, notched his fourth win in a heat of the Northern Region Championship at Swan Hill in a career-best 1:57.5.
Lincoln Royal, another from the Tourello Standardbredsā sire roster, produced winners on both sides of the Tasman last week. The three-year-old Iden Lady Lincoln won in 1:59.4 at Launceston, Little Big Man NZ notched his fifth consecutive win at Pinjarra, Golden Lace NZ (Tamworth), Wharewhiti NZ (Yarra Valley), Keayang Omar (Stawell) and the 1:58 Addington, New Zealand victor Classie Linc.
