Just Believe’s (Orlando Vici) northern trip to take on the world’s best trotters in Elitloppet is “going really, really well” reports his harness racing reinsman Greg Sugars from Amsterdam.

The pair flew out of Melbourne on Tuesday with stop overs in Bangkok and Doha before landing in Amsterdam, from where they’ll soon board a truck for the final 18-hour journey to Sweden’s Solvalla, home of the May 28 ‘Elite Race’.
“We arrived here late last night, just after midnight by the time we got here after we cleared customs,” Sugars shared on social media.
“Just walking in to check on the champ Harry (Just Believe) this morning. He was quite bright last night, settled into his feed quite well.”
As he had done in his Bangkok and Doha stops, Sugars gave Just Believe a carrot treat in Amsterdam and the Inter Dominion and Great Southern Star champion quickly took to it.
“He still loves them, so he must be feeling all right,” Sugars said. “He’s done quite well by the look of it.
“Ate a fair bit of his dinner last night, had a really big drink – that’s probably the main thing – looks quite bright and happy in himself. Everything going really, really well.”
Sugars said he had been able to “get a few hours sleep myself, so I’m feeling pretty good today”, which has the pair readied for the final journey to Sweden’s famed home of trotting.
“We’re about to head off in a few hours’ time by truck, think we’ve got about another 18 hours to go before we make our final desintation in Stockholm,” he said.
“Pleased to report Harry seems to be going quite well. Everything’s going as well as I could have hoped for at this point of time. We are going good guys, we’re nearly there.”
