Australia’s best trotter, Keystone Del, may be bound for the US. Harness racing trainer Brent Lilley said the Yonkers International would be an intriguing option should the opportunity present for the eight-year-old, who looks hard to beat in next weekend’s Great Southern Star at Tabcorp Park Melton.
Lilley made the comment after Keystone Del smashed the track record at Cranbourne over the mile in tonight’s Group 1 Aldebaran Park Knight Pistol for driver Anthony Butt.

Straight to the breeze from barrier four outside race leader Arboe, barrier two, Keystone Del powered home in 1:56.1 by 11.1m over stablemate Kyvalley Blur (Nathan Jack), with the flying Super Zeck into third for Darren Cole and John Caldow. Arboe finished fourth.
Keystone Del boasts 35 wins from his 57 starts to date for stake earnings fast approaching $1million.
