Australia’s leading pacer Leap To Fame (Bettors Delight) looks to have come back better than ever following an awesome harness racing win in the Open Pace at Albion Park on Saturday evening.

Resuming after his Inter Dominion success in July Leap to Fame resumed in a small field of six runners with his trainer Grant Dixon having three other starters to make the event possible.
Drawn out wide Leap To Fame was nursed by Dixon to eventually take up the running from stable mate Aroda. Looking every inch a star Leap To Fame cruised along running his last two quarters in 27.4 and 26.3 seconds.
Aroda went for a run on the inside but Leap To Fame was simply coasting eventually by just under seven metres from Aroda with Free Thinker in third place. Over the 2138 metre trip Leap to Fame rated 1.53.9.
LEAP TO FAME OCT 4 REPLAY
Leap to Fame is now Melbourne bound for the $250,000 Group 1 Victoria Cup in a fortnight’s time and on the strength of his current form is likely to start a short priced favourite.
The plan after Melbourne is for Leap To Fame to then go to Christchurch for the New Zealand Cup in November.
Two years ago Leap To Fame finished third in the Victoria Cup so he will be seeking to add the coveted classic to his illustrious record. Similarly this will be aim for Leap To Fame when he goes to New Zealand to chase an initial success in their Cup.
