Love You gelding wins $100,000 Group One final

Locksley Lover (Love You) capitalised on a great trip behind the leader to come out and win the Group One $100,000 Vicbred Super Series 4YO Trot for Entires & Geldings in the hands of harness racing driver Rebecca Bartley, tonight (Dec. 31) at Tabcorp Park Melton.

In a close finish Locksley Lover beat Don’t Care into second with race favourite Aldebaran Zeus battling home into third. The race was run in a 1:58.7 mile rate for the 2240m mobile.

John Nissen trained the winner.
