Champion Love You mare Queen Elida achieved yet another milestone in a brilliant harness racing career when she established a new seasonal stake earnings record for an Australian trotting mare of $316,450 following her race record-breaking win in the Maori Miss Free-for-all at Melton on Friday night (October 20).

It was her eighth win on end and her 12th from 16 starts this season. She boasts lifetime earnings of $640,245.

One week earlier she comfortably defeated a stellar line-up in the Group 1 $75,000 Bill Collins Trotters Sprint in 1:54.4.

Love You, who is second on this year’s Australian and New Zealand sire lists, enjoyed another successful week with his progeny.

King Of Love, a former En Zedder, won at his first appearance on Australian soil at Menangle in a new lifetime mark of 1:56.2, Jasinova and Cruise Liner both won on the same night at Auckland, and Blithe completed a hat trick at Wyndham.

Adelle, the richest daughter of Orlando Vici, sent her earnings over the $200,000 mark when she overcame a 30 metre handicap to score by 20 metres at Albion Park recently.

Meanwhile, Used To Me picked up a new credit in the four-year-old Ifimust (Charlton) and comeback trotter My Used To Me won a heat of the SA Trotters Cup at Globe Derby Park.
