Cobbitty Equine Farm, one of Australia’s premier standardbred nurseries, has thrown its support behind SA BOTRA’s 100th Anniversary Meeting at Globe Derby Park on Saturday, January 22.
The farm has donated a service to the Victoria Cup winner, 3YO of the Year and emerging sire For A Reason to the winners of the Mares’ Final.
As well, Garrard’s Horse & Hound, Australasia’s largest stockists of specialty equine products, has agreed to sponsor the 3YO Cup Final on the same night.
The expected nine race program also features the Minor Derby Free-for-all, the Fred Jones Trotters Cup and the finals of five other races.
Former champion SA horseman Ross Sugars, a past president of BOTRA, will be the special guest on the night.
