Medieval Man all the way

Medieval Man, a son of the multiple Group winner Renaissance Man, now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud, hoisted a career-best 1:57.9 winning at Gloucester Park last Friday night (January 14).

The five-year-old gelding led from the outset and reeled off a 57.2 seconds final 800 metres to leave his rivals gasping in his wake. He has now won 14 races including five at Gloucester Park and almost $115,000 in stakes.

Million Dollar Cam, the reigning NSW Sire of the Year, left winners in both hemispheres with Christian Shannon scoring at Tamworth and Justa Camilion scoring at Freehold Raceway, New Jersey.

Former world champion Warrawee Needy sired a brace of winners in North America in Need Ur Opinion, a winner in 1:54.6 at Rosecroft Raceway, Maryland, and Reminisce Road (Western Fair Raceway, Canada).

Three colts from the first crop of New Zealand superstar Lazarus will go under the hammer at the Australian Pacing Gold sale at Magic Millions, Gold Coast on Sunday.
