Medieval Man in top form

Medieval Man, a son of former Group 1 star Renaissance Man, now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud in NSW, is proving one of the ‘finds ‘ of the season in WA.

The four-year-old gelding recently completed back-to-back successes in smart company at Gloucester Park and is fast approaching the $100,000 stakemoney mark.

Warrawee Needy, the former world champion miler, sired winners in both hemispheres this week.

Menames Needy, a three-year-old, hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:57.8 at Wagga, while Heresthatmanagain led in a Warrawee Needy trifecta at Grand River Raceway, Canada, scoring in 1:56.4.

NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam was represented by winners in Deal Breaker, who posted his eighth success for the year at Launceston, and Its Only Rocknroll, a winner in 1:53.6 at Saratoga Raceway, New York, while Tintin In America’s son For Tony NZ rated a career-best 1:56.7 in his end-to-end win at Terang.

Renaissance Man, Warrawee Needy, Million Dollar Cam and Tintin In America are all members of the Yirribee Pacing Stud sire roster in 2021/22.
