Meet Yabby Dam Farms’ “Fab Four” – a select group of fillies going to the Melbourne Nutrien Equine Yearling Sale on Sunday, April 13.
The quartet features stunning maternal bloodlines from Australia’s, New Zealand’s and France’s best trotting families.
Here they are:
Lot 237: On A Streak US-Kinvara Sue (Yankee Spider US) – Kinvara Sue is two-time group 1 winner and is a member of Australia’s great “Maori” family, with her fifth dam being Maori Miss and the foundation mare of prolific-winning bloodline.

Kinvara Sue is out Pretty Peggy Sue (Pegasus Spur), making her a half-sister to four winners including group 1 winner Pretty Majestic.
Lot 276: Village Mystic Fra x Parisian Opera (Ready Cash Fra) – Parisian Opera carries one of the great French bloodlines through her sire and is part of an excellent New Zealand family by way of her dam Queens Rhapsody NZ (Gee Whiz II).

From limited opportunities Ready Cash is already the broodmare sire of three Australian-bred winners.
Queens Rhapsody is the dam of six winners and four mares which have produced winners.
Lot 333: Ready Cash Fra x Amour de Frere NZ (Love You Fra) – Amour de Frere is a group 1 winner from one of New Zealand’s best filly-producing fillies.

Amour de Frere is out of Mybrotherwasastar (Sundon US), the dam of four winners including group 1 winner and 2017 NZ 4yo trotting mare of the year and group 1 winning mare Amandine.
He second dam Rob The Nest was the 2006 NZ broodmare of the year.
Lot 346: Father Patrick US x Beautiful River Fra (Quaker Jet Fra) – Beautiful River was imported as a broodmare with three wins and has had two winners from two foals to race, including Lotus Louis (6 wins in 7 starts).

Beautiful River is by Quaker Jet, a son of the great Love You with a great race and stud record.
Quaker Jet is well known to Australia, with 28 Australian-bred winners including outstanding multiple group 1-winning mare Im Ready Jet.
Travel Rebate:
Yabby Dam Farms (YDF) are pleased to announce a travel rebate of any YDF yearling purchase at the 2025 Nutrien Equine Standardbred Yearling Sale at Melbourne on Sunday, 13th of April 2025, where the yearling is exported to New Zealand within 60 days following the Nutrien Equine Satnadardbred Yearling Sale 2025.
The export rebate will be A$500 per A$10,000 spend or part thereof, to a maximum of A$5,000, payable on receipt of a paid travel invoice.
