Melton double for A Rocknroll Dance

A Rocknroll Dance, who is enjoying a breakout season, took the siring honours at Melton on Saturday night (October 28) with a winning double.

Curly James led most of the way to beat a top field in the Gammalite Free-for-all and lift his earnings over the $150,000 mark, while Solesseo Matuca maintained his devastating form with a comfortable win on the same night.

Solesseo Matuca has stake earnings of $234,280.

Custom Harley, A Rocknroll Dance two-year-old, won a heat of the Dandy Patch at Hobart, while Killarney Dance NZ won her 11^th race from 17 starts this season at the same track.

Other recent winners sired by A Rocknroll Dance were Glover NZ 1:57.1 (Albion Park), Paris Abbie (Globe Derby Park), Payton’s Rock NZ 1:55.5 (Newcastle), Rocknallovertheworld NZ 1:56.5 (Maryborough) and The Dancer 1:57.4 and Classic Beesmack 1:58 (both Parkes).

A Rocknroll Dance, who stands alongside the 1:46 Captaintreacherous horse Catch The Fire and trotter Classic Connection at Peter and Chantal McMullen’s Somerset Farms in Queensland, has sired 154 individual winners this season in Australia and progeny earnings of $3.74million.
