Classy four year old Miki to Success (Always B Miki) showed he will be a force the forthcoming features with a strong all-the-way harness racing performance to take out the Group 3 $50,000 Hip Pocket Castlemaine 4YO Bonanza at Melton last night.

In a top class field with some promising prospects, Miki To Success booted up on the inside to hold out New South Wales visitor The Bigboss and favourite Bay of Biscay who was caught three wide early but was able to secure a one out and one back trail.
Kingman followed the leader from the second row to take the trail behind the leader. Jackie Barker on Always B Miki steadied her charge in the lead. The Bigboss and Bay of Biscay both made runs on the final bend but Always B Miki booted clear and in running his last quarter in 26.8 seconds ensured that those behind would not catch him.
Kingman held on for second placing with War Dan Buddy coming from mid field to get M. Trainer Emma Stewart achieved the training feat of the first three runners.
The Bigboss was still battling on at the finish and under the circumstances his run was very credible. He will make his presence in the forthcoming Sydney features.
