Miki To Success (Always B Miki) added his name to the honour board by an effortless all the way harness racing win in the $60,000 Group 3 Ladbrokes South Australian Pacing Cup at Globe Derby on Saturday night.

Last week Miki To Success broke the track record winning his heat so it was not surprising that he started a prohibitive favourite even though he was drawn on the second row.
Dhaulagiri showed early speed to take up the running with Hezarockinroyalty with a trail behind the leader. It didn’t take long for driver Wayne Hill to send Miki to Success around to the front with a quick sprint.
And from there on he simply cruised in the lead.
MIKI TO SUCCESS OCT 25 REPLAY
Stablemate Sir Jimmy the only other runner with some support was back in the field early but his driver Samantha Hill moved up alongside Miki To Success.
After leisurely quarters, Hill allowed Miki To Success to speed up with a third quarter of 28.6 seconds and he quickly gained a gap in his opponents although Dhaulagiri continued to stick on and make a race of it.

However Miki To Success was not extended and he had just eight metres to spare over Dhaulagiri with Hezrockinroyalty a battling third.
Miki To Success is from the all conquering Emma Stewart stable who has targeted South Australian feature races over the years with great success.
Miki To Success went straight to Globe Derby for the Cup after running a credible fifth in the Eureka at Menangle in early September. And he obviously appreciated the drop in company which showed in the manner that he won both his Heat and Final.
The best of the locals was turned in by Hezarockinroyalty who finished on for third.
It’s still obvious that the Victorians still have the edge over the locals in big races but their presence adds to the attraction and provides good publicity for harness racing which is sorely needed when possible.
