Uncle Shank and Hurricane Hussler, a pair of three-year-olds from the first crop of world champion Warrawee Needy, now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga, were very impressive winners at Albion Park and Ballarat respectively.
Uncle Shank made it six wins from nine starts when he comfortably defeated older rivals in a 1:53.8 rate over 1660 metres, while Hurricane Hussler scored his second success from three attempts, leading from the outset and carving out his last 800 in 56.2 seconds.
The North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available in Australia from Yirribee, was represented by the two-year-old Self Made, who won a Buckeye Stallion Series division in 1:53.4 at Scioto Downs, Ohio.
Fear The Dragon has sired the winners of $750,000 with his first crop, including 25 in the 2:00 list and seven in 1:55.
Million Dollar Cam, the three-time NSW Sire of the Year, produced winners in both hemispheres this week. Skedaddle Shannon was a runaway winner in 1:567.4 at Melton, Camstar Road won for the fourth time at Young, while Aussie ex-pat Its Only Rocknroll emerged successful in 1:53.6 at Saratoga Raceway, New York.
