The impact of regional racing across New South Wales has created some mouth-watering clashes including the open class pace at Wagga this afternoon.
Group 1 competitors Ignatius, Rockin Marty and Send It will all go head-to-head in race nine.
Ignatius is a last start winner at Goulburn and so is Send It who won in Queensland on July 24 and is having his first start on home soil since his interstate trip.
Rockin Marty is also having his first start back from his Queensland campaign that was successful without gaining a win.
He was the runner up in the group 1 The Blacks A Fake Championship to Amazing Dream and was also a close third in the Sunshine Sprint to Copy That.
To cater for fast class horses in each region, Harness Racing NSW approved a six-horse fast class field at Newcastle tonight where Newcastle Mile winner The Black Prince will be searching for his first win since that feature success.
