My General Lee progeny continue to impress

9 September 2025
in Australia, International

The winners keep coming for royally bred stallion My General Lee, who is standing his debut season at Bellmoure Park Stud in South Australia.

At Menangle yesterday, his son Myth You Already produced a commanding harness racing performance, leading throughout from the pole position to score in a brilliant 1:53.4 mile. It was only the gelding’s second raceday start, following an eye-catching debut second earlier this month — clear signs of a bright career ahead.

For breeders, the numbers tell the story. From just nine live foals of racing age, My General Lee has already sired six starters and five winners — an outstanding strike rate.

By champion sire Art Major and from the elite producing mare My Ami Lee (by Safely Kept), My General Lee carries some of the most potent bloodlines in Australasia. His pedigree links directly to multiple Group 1 performers, including:

  • Louvre 1:54.5 ($402,665) – dual NSW Breeders Challenge winner.
  • Miss Hazel 1:57 ($310,063) – Victoria Oaks and Ladyship Cup champion.
  • Renaissance Man 1:53.1 ($297,904) – SA Derby and NSW Sires Stakes winner, now a successful sire.

The depth of family continues to shine, with another of his progeny, the exciting two-year-old filly Tonys Dream, scheduled to trial tonight at Penrith.

With a 2025 service fee set at just $2,500, My General Lee represents exceptional value for breeders seeking proven bloodlines, strong performance, and early results in the winner’s circle.
