When Rakasinc NZ led throughout at Gloucester Park on Friday (March 19) he became the 21st member of the ‘$100,000 Club’ sired by former Kiiwi champion Changeover.
Rakasinc, who carved out his last 800 in a stunning 55.4 seconds, has now won 13 races.
On the same night, Stinger Lindenny NZ, a gelding by Changeover, led from end to end at Albion Park, rating a career-best 1:54.3 over 1660 metres highlighted by a 55 closing half.
Other recent Changeover winners were Glengarry Knight NZ, who won in 1:52 at Pocono Downs, Pennsylvania, Smoken Shazza NZ (Ouyen) and Endless, a 1:58.9 winner at Canberra.
Changeover, the richest ever son of the great In The Pocket, stands at Burwood Stud, on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
