The gelding completed a double on the night for Tintin In America, who also sired the three-year-old winner Dreamy Castafiore (1:58.6).

Other recent Tintin winners have been Onesmartfella NZ, a winner in 1:56.5 at Gloucester Park, and Nimah Franco NZ, who won in 1:55.8 at Dayton Raceway, Ohio.

Hurricane Hustler, a most impressive winner on Cranbourne Cup night, headed up a busy fortnight for former world champion Warrawee Needy. He was also represented by a quartet of three-year-old winners at the NSW provincials in Esther Rising (Wagga), Need A Penny (Leeton), Unsully (Tamworth) and Mista Macneedy (Dubbo).

The North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, whose two and three-year-olds have earned $3.2 million this year, led in a smart two-year-old winner at the Bathurst Christmas meeting in Justa Dragon (1:57.7).

Fear The Dragon boasts a 50 percent winners-to-starters strike rate with his first Australian crop.

Tintin In America, Warrawee Needy and Fear The Dragon all stand at the new Wingate Farm, Wagga, of prominent NSW breeder Jake Stockton.
