Foxi Five, a two-year-old filly by former star En Zedder Tintin In America, now standing at Yiribee Pacing Stud, Wagga (NSW), became her sire’s third individual juvenile winner this season when she emerged successful at Albion Park on Tuesday (April 12).
The filly led from go to whoa, rating 1:59.9 over 1660 metres with the last half in 58.3 seconds.
Tintin In America was also represented by the Redcliffe three-year-old winner Zara’s A Treasure and the Cambridge Raceway, NZ victor Jack Tar (1:58.4).
Fear The Dragon, the North America Cup winner, sired a further three winners from his first American crop in The Fear Is Real (1:53.4), Springbridge Dragn (1:55.2) and Diva’s Dragon (1:55.4).
Former world champion Warrawee Needy sired a brace of winners in Canada this week in the three-year-old Just Call Me Pete and Just Plain Needy (1:53.4).
Three-time NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam left the Queensland winner Kay Nora Shannon, while former champion juvenile Lombo Pocket Watch sired a ‘new’ three-year-old winner at Young (NSW) in Miss Stormy Grey.
