Carrick harness racing trainer Mark Yole will take two horses to Hobart on Friday night, with both his runners having a winning chance on the seven-race card.
Both runners from Yoleās stable, Northview Dave and Murry will line up in theĀ Coaches Appreciation Award MobileĀ over 2090m.
Northview Dave had his 10th stable change since arriving in Tasmania when claimed after a seventh placing in Launceston on 15 October.
The gelded son of Mcardle had his first start for Mark in Devonport on 29 October, where the pacer raced outside the leader before gaining a one-out one-back trail for the final 1300m before the trainer-driver made his run at the 200m before being run down right on the line by Sea Hawke by a short-half head.
That form line had been strengthened with Sea Hawke winning again in Launceston on 7 November.
Northview Dave will be driven by Conor Crook, who replaces the suspended Yole, and will start from the pole draw, while Murry will start from barrier five on the second row.
Murry, a gelded son of Jeremes Jet, has won three races from 37 starts the season, with his last two wins both coming on the Hobart track, and the pacer gets into Fridayās race well with the five-point concession claim for driver Jordan Chibnall.
The pacer has been placed in five of his last seven outings, with the most recent placing being in Launceston three starts ago on 10 October when well driven by Yole to finish two metres behind the smart Rock On Playboy, with Fridayās assignment being a drop in class on the pacers recent racing.
There has been several early betting moves across the Hobart card, including;
- Race 2 ā 8. Lord Bazalup $34 into $11.
- Race 3 ā 2. Northview Dave $5.50 into $4.00.
- Race 5 ā 8. Eye See Double $26 into $14.
