Queen Elida NZ further underlined her outstanding potential coming from worse than midfield to dominate her rivals in the Shepparton Trotters Oaks on Friday (September 17). The filly is now the richest of her age, gait and sex in Australia this season.
Other recent Love You winners have been the three-year-olds Maestro (Geelong) and the unbeaten Simone Lindenny (Wyndham, NZ) and the two-year-old filly High On Love, who made it two wins from three starts at Cambridge Raceway in New Zealandās north island.
Quaker Jet, the richest son of Love You, was represented by the highly promising juvenile filly Revelstoke, who boomed home from near last to win at her third attempt at Kilmore, and Electrojet, who posted her fifth success at Geelong.
Meanwhile, Brandlo Prince, a member of Orlando Viciās amazing first crop, equalled his lifetime mark of 1:58.9 for 2150 metres beating a top field at Bendigo. A multiple Group 1 placegetter, the gelding has now won 12 races and $144,410 in stakes.
Ollivici, a NZ bred three-year-old gelding by Orlando Vici, sat parked throughout before completing back-to-back successes at Kilmore. He is a very smart youngster.
