Tintin In America and Warrawee Needy, both members of the Wingate Farm harness racing sire roster at Wagga, produced three NSW Breeders Challenge Regional Series heat winners between them.
King Tintin, a two-year-old colt by Tintin In America, won the Penrith heat in 1:56.5 to complete his fourth success from only eight starts.
Meanwhile, the Warrawee Needy sired My Stella Rose (2YO filly) and Mista Macneedy (3YO gelding) won heats at Newcastle and Wagga, respectively.
Tintin In America, the sire of the winners of more than $1 million in Australia this season, was also represented by Tin Tin Jo, a two-year-old filly winner in 1:58.8 at Bendigo, the three-year-old Billy Granvill (Wagga) and American Flyer NZ (Redcliffe).
Other recent winners by Warrawee Needy have been the three-year-olds Unsully (1:56.8, Tamworth) and Warrawee Flyer (Newcastle) and Need Arocket, a winner in 1:56.4 at Saratoga Raceway, New York.
Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available from Wingate Farm, was represented by the fast three-year-old winners in America in Fear Our Faith (1:52.6), Type A Personality (1:53.8) and The Mad King (1:53.8). Fear The Dragonās first crop as three-year-old have earned over $2 million in 2022.
