Nutrien Equine takes over Bathurst Sale

Nutrien Equine and the Bathurst Harness Race Club are pleased to announce that Nutrien will be conducting the 2023 annual Bathurst Yearling Sale.

The sale is set to be held at the Bathurst Club’s track on Sunday 19th March 2023.

As usual, the Bathurst Showground stables will be available for vendors requiring overnight stabling, with the racing day facilities to be utilised for sale horses on sale day.

The Bathurst sale entries will be set to open on Tuesday 2nd August and remain open until Friday 25th November, to allow vendors time to nominate horses for sale.

New to the Bathurst sale this year will be the ability to sustain sale horses for both the Bathurst sale series, but also the Nutrien Equine national sale race series, along with all horses being paid up for their Bathurst Gold Crown first payment.

Nutrien Equine’s Mark Barton said: “The Bathurst sale is an exciting addition to our 2023 sale series and will definitely complement our Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne catalogues, allowing vendors more options to best place their annual draft of yearlings.”

“March is a real highlight month for the sport of Harness racing in NSW with the Gold Crown, Miracle Mile, and the annual sales at both Bathurst and Sydney.
