New Zealand import Nerano will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record in Australia at harness racing’s Griffith track on Tuesday.
The Ellen Bartley-trained pacer has won his four starts since arriving in the country, including a career best performance at Riverina Paceway on October 5 where he clocked 1:54.2.
Nerano will race in a heat of the Griffith Cup on Tuesday with the final to be held at Griffithās Carnival of Cups on November 6. To see fields click here.
He will be driven by one of the Riverina regionās top driver Blake Jones.
The reinsman helped Bar Room Banta qualify for the Breeders Challenge, which he won, when taking out a heat of the series at Leeton on September 7 and obliterated the track record in the process. Watch that replay below:
Bar Room Banta became one of the rare pacers to win both two and three-year-old Breeders Challenge Finals.
As for Jones, he has drives in six of the eight races today.
