South Maitland harness racing driver Peter Hedges is having his best season in the past six years.
Having already driven 21 winners this term, Hedges will aim to add to his success when he makes the rare trip down the freeway to Menangle on Saturday night.

Hedges is driving the Adam Ruggari-trained Three In Heaven in a Breeders Challenge Semi-Final. Click here to see fields.
Hedges won a Breeders Challenge heat with the son of Mach Three at Newcastle last week, in what was an emotional victory.
Three In Heaven was having his first start under Ruggari’s guidance, having previously been trained by his grandfather Barry Matterson who sadly passed away recently.
Three In Heaven lead throughout in his qualifier and has drawn barrier three for the $20,000 Semi-Final on Saturday night.
Hedges will have some warm up drives at Newcastle on Friday night where he has three engagements.
Mondos Eagle (race one) and Mondooley Heaven (race four) are pacers Hedges trains himself while he will also drive Better Than Carmer (race two) for Rodney Mercieca.
