Owner Diane Reilly describes that winning Inter Dom feeling

“I’ve done it, that is all I said to myself, I’ve done it.”

Owner Diane Reilly is still on cloud nine a week after her beloved horse ‘Red’ – aka I Cast No Shadow (Shadow Play) – won her the SENTrack 2022 Inter Dominion Pacing Championship along with harness racing trainer Jason Grimson and driver Cameron Hart.

Having only squeaked in as the 12th qualifier for the final, after I Cast No Shadow “had a few little issues” through the heats, a perfect barrier draw and flawless run by her beloved five-year-old entire gifted the 82-year-old “one hell of a ride”.

“I wish everybody in trotting could experience my feeling, because we all work so hard and we all want to win this trophy,” she said.
