The brave, fighting win of the Love You gelding Parisian Artiste in the Group 3 $25,000 Swan Hill Trotters Cup continued the domination of sires on the Haras Des Trotteursā roster in this seasonās Maoriās Idol Trotting Championship in Victoria.
He joins Just Believe (Orlando Vici), who won the Kilmore and Shepparton Trotters Cups last month, and the John Slack Memorial winner Adelle (Orlando Vici) as winners in this yearās series.
Parisian Artiste has now won 10 races ā including three at Group/Listed level – and $138,763 in stakes.
Love You, who is the leading three-year-old trotting sire and second on the all aged list, left six winners in the space of six days.
Queen Elida, the reigning Australian 3YO Trotting Filly of the Year, notched her sixth Group success when she scored a barnstorming last-to-first win in the Group 3 Chris Howe Free-for-all at Melton. It was her fourth success on end and the 15th of her 25-start career.
Talented three-year-old filly Lindyās Love hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:55.3 winning her fifth race from eight tries this season at Menangle, while Toro Stride (Geelong and Maryborough), Ti Amo Belle (Addington, NZ) and Robbinmemates (Geelong) were other recent winners sired by Love You.
Love Youās richest son Quaker Jet continues to churn out the winners. Imamaorijet, a winner in 1:58.5 at Bendigo, Elegant Jet (Stawell) and Quick Quaker (Globe Derby Park) all emerged successful to boost his Australian siring score to 18 winners from 25 starters at an average of $47,265 per starter.
Meanwhile, Dont Care, a four-year-old gelding by Haras Des Trotteursā resident stallion Used To Me, maintained his devastating form with an end-to-end success in a career-best 1:59.4 in metropolitan company at Melton. The 2YO Trotting Colt/Gelding of the Year boasts the enviable record of 22 starts for 10 wins and five placings for $124,925 and is the richest progeny of Used To Me.
