The long and successful partnership between powerhouse owner-breeder Pat Driscoll and master trainer Anton Golino has come to an end, with some of the stable’s biggest harness racing stars moving into the care of Andy Gath.

Reigning Great Southern Star champion Callmethebreeze (Trixton) and Group 1-winning mares Im Ready Jet (Quaker Jet) and Revelstoke (Quaker Jet) joined Gath’s Long Forest barn this afternoon following news of the split between Driscoll and Golino.

Driscoll owns and operates the Yabby Dam Farms facility on the outskirts of Ballarat, which has been the training ground for many Group 1 triumphs under Golino’s care during the last decade.

Stars trained by Golino include the three horses now with Gath, but also the likes of Dance Craze, Cravache Dor, Always Ready and Une Belle Allure.

The 43-year-old Golino has won more than 30 Group 1 races in Australia.
