Prizemoney on the way up for trotters in NSW

Club Menangle is excited to announce significant prizemoney increases for trotters.

Most importantly, there has been a 100 per cent increase in prizemoney for the La Coocaracha that will be run on Saturday 7 May for trotting mares. In 2021 this race carried prize money of $25,000, however, this year, it will carry stakes of $50,000 and Group 1 status.

The NSW Trotters Derby and NSW Trotters Oaks will also carry prizemoney of $50,000 and Group 1 status.

Continued support and additional funding from Harness Racing NSW will see the NSW Foundation Finals prizemoney increased to $25,000, for the two-year-old, three-year-old and four-year-old Trotting Series.

The Harness Racing NSW Foundation Series dates are listed below and include a spring series for two-year-old trotters in 2022.
