The North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available ‘Down Under’ at Yirribee Pacing Stud (NSW), has made a promising start to his stud career in America.

He has already sired five sub 2:00 winners and a 1:55 winner from his first crop including the colt The Fear Is Real, who won at Northfield Park, Ohio on Wednesday in 1:55.8.

Tintin In America, the sire of the world’s fastest ever female pacer Shartin, left two two-year-old winners in Queensland in the space of four days.

Teddy Disco, a two-year-old gelding, won a heat of the Redcliffe Yearling Sale Series and has now won two of his three starts, while the filly Zaras A Treasure notched her maiden success at Albion Park in a 1:58 rate.

Tintin In America, who has sired five two-year-old winners this season, was also represented by the Cranbourne winner Common Courtesy (1:58.7) and the North American winner Kiwi Tintin NZ (1:51.2).

Former world champion Warrawee Needy left winners from his first crops in North America and Australia. Pld Needy (1:57.6) and Lil Memories (1:59.8) emerged successful in Canada, while the three-year-old The Mountain (1:55.9) posted his sixth lifetime win at Wagga.

Other Yirribee Stud sired winners have been Deal Breaker 1:58.7 (by Million Dollar Cam) and Ocean Eve (by Renaissance Man).
