Quaker Jet filly upsets in $100,000 Vicbred Final

Revelstoke (Quaker Jet) has caused a minor upset in the $100,000 Group One Vicbred Super Series trot final for 3yo fillies tonight at Tabcorp Park Melton, after she demolished her harness racing rivals by 16.7 metres in a 1:57.5 mile rate for driver Daryl Douglas.

Anton Golino trained the winner for owner Yabby Dam Farms.

There was drama at the start of the race when hot favourite Courmayer ($1.30) galloped as the gate was dispatched and ruined her chance.
