This years version of the Ready 2 Run sale was held at Menangle yesterday and overall the promoters would have to have been happy with the results.
New Zealander Michael House brought seven yearlings to the sale and would have been thrilled with the results on the day.
His aggregate for the seven yearlings was $336,500, an average of $48,071 with the best result being the top price of the day of $80,000 for Fundamental, the son of Rocknroll Hanover and the former star New Zealand two year old filly in Kamwood Cully.
House also had the second highest price on the day of $60,000 which he received for a son of Mach Three from the Life Sign mare Mayhappen who has already produced the smart Whirily School 1:58.4 ($69,270)
The colt was purchased out of last years Australian Pacing Gold sale at Melbourne for the princely sum of $12,000.
It was a big exercise for Michael House to bring the seven horses to Menangle but he would be encouraged by the results and he helped the sale immensely overall.
