Bird Parker and Brillantissime, both sons of the incomparable Ready Cash, sired the winners of both divisions of the rich Swedish EB Series for three-year-old trotters, held at the Sundbyholm track in Eskilstuna, west of Stockholm on Saturday (July 2).
Bedazzled Sox (by Brillantissime) led throughout in the colts and geldingsā division at a 1:56.4 rate for 2140 metres, while Sparven (by Bird Parker) notched her maiden success in the $US385,000 filliesā final in 1:58.2. Bedazzled Sox has won seven of his nine starts to date.
Champion sire Love You sired four winners in Australia and New Zealand in the first week of July. Liaison won his fifth race at Alexandra Park, Auckland, the three-year-old Kingās Guard scored at Kilmore and Yankee Lover and Tictoc won on the same day at Charlton.
