The top priced lot at Sunday’s Australian Pacing Gold Yearling Sale in Melbourne was sold for $110,000.
That was for a stunning colt by Rocknroll Hanover out of Madison Louise that was purchased by Rosalie and Terry Cluse.
The highest-priced filly of the sale the daughter of Bettors Delight out of Our Stardust.
Purchased for $100,000 by owner Danny Zavitsanos, the filly was bred by 94-year-old breeder Helen Head.
Zavitsanos also outlaid $60,000 for a Vincent colt out of Miss Skeeter.
Another son of Vincent fetched $95,000 which Summit Bloodstock, Aaron Bain Racing and Emma Stewart won the bid on the colt out of Decapria.
Another popular lot was the Mach Three – Be Happy Sam colt that was purchased by T Caruana for $100,000.
The highest-priced trotters was the Volstead filly out of Prettylilangeleyes that was purchased for $30,000 by Tom Hogan.
