Devastated after having to scratch his in-form pacer Mister Brazil out of the Inter Dominion series trainer Adam Ruggari will be hoping to turn his luck around.
The Sawyer Gully mentor was ecstatic as Mister Brazil moved up the Inter Dominion rankings and was gaining a start in Australasiaās premier series.
However, within hours of getting that news, Ruggari discovered that Mister Brazilās bloods showed early signs of a virus.
It is now up to his three-year-old gelding Mannho to aim to qualify for the Breeders Challenge Regional series.
Mannho faces a $10,000 heat of that race at Newcastle tonight and has drawn ideally in barrier one with driver Tom Ison.
Mannho recently put two wins together at Newcastle before finishing a close fourth in major Breeders Challenge heat on October 15.
He will have to face other promising types in Sunshine Pepper and Roclea Ruler in his qualifier.
