Exciting Tintin In America three-year-old Mahomes extended his winning sequence to six when he led throughout at harness racing’s Bathurst track last week. The gelding has now won eight of his 16 lifetime starts.

Tintin In America, the former Kiwi superstar who is now standing at the new Wingate Farm, Wagga, was represented by his sixth individual two-year-old winner this season when the filly Havahh Nice Day emerged successful in 1:58.7 at Wagga.

Teddy Disco and Tim’s A Trooper, a pair of Tintin three-year-olds, finished second and third respectively behind Leap To Fame in the NSW Breeders Challenge heat at Tamworth.

The former world champion Warrawee Needy, a studmate of Tintin In America, sired the NSW Breeders Challenge heat winner for three-year-old fillies in Flare Up, who completed her ninth success in 16 starts.

Warrawee Needy was also represented by the Albion Park two-year-old winner Miss Froufrou (1:57) and the Cowra winner Ripponlea (her 7th win).

Fear Of Sports, a two-year-old filly by the North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, provided the highlight of a busy week for her sire when she tied the world record on a half-mile oval and the track record with a 1:51.4 score in a $55,000 division of the Ohio Sires Stakes at Northfield Park.

It was her fourth win in a row and increased her earnings to $129,125.

Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available in Australia only from Wingate Farm, has sired three-year-old winners in North America this year tallying almost $1.4 million, while his two-year-old have banked $830,000.
