Tintin In America, the former Kiwi superstar who is now standing at the new Wingate Farm, Wagga, was represented by his sixth individual two-year-old winner this season when the filly Havahh Nice Day emerged successful in 1:58.7 at Wagga.
Teddy Disco and Timās A Trooper, a pair of Tintin three-year-olds, finished second and third respectively behind Leap To Fame in the NSW Breeders Challenge heat at Tamworth.
The former world champion Warrawee Needy, a studmate of Tintin In America, sired the NSW Breeders Challenge heat winner for three-year-old fillies in Flare Up, who completed her ninth success in 16 starts.
Warrawee Needy was also represented by the Albion Park two-year-old winner Miss Froufrou (1:57) and the Cowra winner Ripponlea (her 7th win).
Fear Of Sports, a two-year-old filly by the North America Cup winner Fear The Dragon, provided the highlight of a busy week for her sire when she tied the world record on a half-mile oval and the track record with a 1:51.4 score in a $55,000 division of the Ohio Sires Stakes at Northfield Park.
It was her fourth win in a row and increased her earnings to $129,125.
Fear The Dragon, whose frozen semen is available in Australia only from Wingate Farm, has sired three-year-old winners in North America this year tallying almost $1.4 million, while his two-year-old have banked $830,000.
