The impeccably bred harness racing stallion Soho Tribeca will be trucking back to Llowalong Farms in northern Victoria next week to line up for his third season at the Breeding caper.
He has bred in excess of 100 mares in Australia in each of his first two seasons at StudĀ Ā – 2020 and 2021.
There are currently 86 foals [now weanlings] registered with HRA in his debut crop.
Reports from around the country suggest these debut foals are correct, athletic, good size and with perfect temperaments – pretty much describes Soho Tribeca himself.
In the off season Soho Tribeca has been enjoying a sojourn on the training track and he recently competed in two trials in Victoria – coming home his last half in both trials in 54 and change.
He will celebrate his 10th birthday in less than four months and it is over 1,100 days since he last competed in a race , so these sectionals that he just achieved are testament to his natural athletic ability.
Just to remind us all of his impeccable breeding. His sire American Ideal continues to churn out Stakes winners in both Hemispheres and when you look at the his bloodlines, the names of two of the most influential Stallions in our Pacing World today stand out like shining beacons – Western Ideal and Matts Scooter.
Then his Dam is a “Royal” Blue blood. Pixel Perfect is a daughter of Australiaās leading Sire of Broodmares in Art Major and her seven winning progeny have now racked up just shy of $2.5 million in combined earnings.
This was good enough for Pixel Perfect to win an Australian Broodmare of the Year Award , duplicating what her mother Amarillen had already achieved.
Racetrack victories over some of the immortals of our Industry including Lazarus, Lennytheshark, Chicago Bull and Tiger Tara add to the imposing credentials of the tall, athletic Soho Tribeca.
His progeny of course are Eligible for the $12,000 VicBred Pure Colonial Bonus if your mare is bred and foals in Victoria.
His advertised Service Fee will remain at $3,000 including GST . . . and if you bred a weanling by him or have a mare in foal to him then a nice surprise awaits you.
Bookings are now being taken at Llowalong Farms [03] 5852 2845 or Kath McIntosh 0427 497 429 / John CoffeyĀ Ā 0429 278 279.
