Springboard winner by My High Expectations

Former trotting cups winner My High Expectations, who is now standing at Medowie Lodge stud, near Newcastle (NSW), sired the winner of the Somerset Farms Springboard Final for two-year-old harness racing trotters at Albion Park in Gait With Grace.

The filly led throughout and won by 5.5 metres. She has won four of her five starts.

The third placegetter, Northern Heights, also by My High Expectations, finished third.

My High Expectations, whose oldest stock are four-year-olds, has sired four winners from eight starters.

GAIT WITH GRACE REPLAY

Companion sire Follow The Stars, who has left the winners of almost $1million this season to date, produced eight winners in the space of a fortnight.

They included the Gloucester Park winner Per Ardua Ad Astra (1:58.2), Nightwatch Star (Tamworth), Beejay’s Star (Mildura) and the WA provincial winners Path Of Gold, Alexandra Thegreat, Rellim, Billie Joe Star and Krakka Lightning.
