The Harness Breeders NSW Pink Diamond Stakes is a significant event on the Club Menangle harness racing calendar, with the 2022 edition scheduled to be run on Saturday, 1 October.

This year, Club Menangle and Harness Breeders NSW are excited to announce a prizemoney increase that will see the event for three-year-old state-bred and Breeders Challenge eligible fillies contested for $24,990.

David Wonson, General Manager of Racing Operations at Club Menangle, said, “The Pink Diamond Stakes is an event that we look forward to hosting each year.

We greatly appreciate the support from Harness Breeders NSW, which has seen them contribute an additional $3000 to the prizemoney.”

In addition to the prizemoney boost, Harness Racing NSW have also contributed a $2000 Breeders Bonus Certificate for the winning filly, a $1500 Breeders Bonus Certificate for the second-placed filly and a $1000 Breeders Bonus Certificate for the third-placed filly.

“It is great that Harness Racing NSW has come on board with the inclusion of three Breeding Certificates for the Pink Diamond Stakes,” said Wonson.

“We believe that this is an excellent incentive for owners and trainers to contest the event on Saturday, 1 October.”

The Harness Breeders NSW Pink Diamond Stakes is to be run over 1609 metres and is PBD/NR.
