Harness racing’s 2023 Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale has attracted a quality lineup of youngsters from many of Queensland’s leading breeders.
“We are delighted with the quality of the yearlings that will be on offering at the sale,” auctioneer Darren Ebert, of Darren Ebert & Co, said.
“The boutique sale will once again showcase some of the future stars of the racetrack.”
The multiple Group winner Teddy Disco, the winner of more than $210,000, is a product of the Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale.
“Teddy Disco’s breeder Shawn Grimsey is supporting the sale again next year,” Ebert said.
Burwood Stud, who has an outstanding record for producing winners of the rich Garrard’s Redcliffe Sale Classics for two and three-year-olds, will have a strong draft of yearlings.
“They are supporting the Redcliffe sale again as they realise the value of the sale,” Ebert said.
Besides Teddy Disco, the sale has brought out this year’s Bathurst Gold Crown winner Tardelli, the QBred Triad winners Manila Playboy, Governor Jujon and Leo’s Best and the smart performers Celtic Cruza and Regulus, to name only a few.
The Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale will be held at the Redcliffe Paceway on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
