The Breeders Crown champion Summa Cum Laude (1:50.4), who is a member of the Tourello Standardbreds’ frozen semen roster in northern Tasmania, has vaulted to the top of the first season sires’ list in North America.

As at July 31, the Somebeachsomwhere stallion’s two-year-old had banked $489,668 from 76 starters from a foal crop of 116.
Summa Cum Laude, who stands in Ohio, was represented by a pair of $50,000 Ohio Sires Stakes two-year-old winners in I’llbetyourboots (1:54) and Swelce (1:55). He has 21 in the 2:00 list and five in 1:55.
I’llbetyourboots, the winner of three of his four starts, has banked $104,960, making him the third richest two-year-old male pacer in USA in 2025.
All Bets Off 1:48 ($3.1 million), one of Canada’s leading sires, will be available again to Australian breeders from Tourello. The Bettor’s Delight horse has sired the winners of $9.2 million from just three racing crops with five in 1:50, 77 in 1:55 and 26 $100,000 earners.
Another of the Tourello roster, the Little Brown Jug winner Lou’s Pearlman 1:47.8 ($1.2 million) has commanded full books in his first two seasons in Ohio.
