Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale fast approaching

The highly anticipated inaugural Ladbrokes Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale, conducted by Nutrien Equine, will be held at the Magic Millions complex at the Gold Coast over two big days on March 11-12.

On Saturday, March 11 the contingent of harness racing yearlings are available for inspection throughout the day and a sales parade will commence from 4.30pm.

Other social activities will also be available over the weekend, including a corporate area at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Saturday, casual Saturday dinner and drinks plus more.

Horses catalogued will go to auction on Sunday, March 12 commencing at 11am.

A total of 137 lots are listed to go under the hammer, with all horses that enter the sales ring becoming eligible, if sustained, for both the $600,000 Ladbrokes Sunshine Stars race series and the national Nutrien Race Series.

This Queensland industry owned sale is built on transparency, integrity and innovation with option of advertised reserves, non-sale entries and a traffic light system:

• Red: not on the market;
• Amber: close to reserve; and
• Green: on the market.
